Launched in 2006 and located in Pinellas Park, Florida, Storm King Claims Services works with insurance companies and Managing General Agencies to assist them with their customers. We specialize in servicing insurance carriers that insure Mobile Home, Condo, Homeowners and Flood policies.
Storm King Claims Services handles the entire claims process with onsite desk examiners as well as adjusters in the field. We handle everything from first notice of loss, investigation, appraisal/adjustment, subrogation, and litigation arising during and after the claims process. Storm King prides itself on building and maintaining strong relationships with outside vendors, emergency service companies, and independent property adjusters to better assist insureds with their claims.
Storm King likes to embrace a solid work/play environment while all working to meet our clients SLAs and is diligent in making sure we handle claims according to all state statutes, while also building a strong customer relationship. Our desk examiners employ a high level of customer service to policyholders by empathetically handling each claim and working efficiently with focus on amicable indemnity.

T. John Jerger Jr.

John Jerger Jr. has over 30 years of experience in the Florida Homeowner, Manufactured, and Mobile Homeowner industry. He is currently a founder and holds Executive positions for multiple insurance related businesses. Storm King Claims Services, LLC was launched by John and his partners in 2006 and is an independent contractor of T.J. Jerger MGA, LLC. John is also President of T.J. Jerger MGA, LLC which was formed in 2005 and acts as an independent Managing General Agent for insurance products, including but not limited to property and casualty insurance.
John is also a Co- Founder and Chief Operating Officer of West Point Insurance Services, a software company which began operation in 2000. Insurance companies throughout the United States utilize and have started their insurance business by utilizing the West Point Insursystm platform for quoting, rating, and policy issuance. John also serves as President of American Traditions Insurance Company insuring dwellings throughout Florida since 2006, which prides themselves as being the largest writer of manufactured and mobile home insurance in Florida.
John actively leads the executive management teams in all of his endeavors and in every aspect of day to day operations. He further manages the overall profitability of these organizations and believes customer service and giving customers peace of mind must be paramount in the process. He takes time out of his workday consulting with many new and established insurance companies within Florida as well as across the United States. John is a lifelong knowledge seeker maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset. When he is not working, he is spending time with his family, enjoying his vacation home in Georgia, or catching a Tampa Bay Lightning game.

Carlos joined Storm King claims Services in 2022. He has nearly 20 years of experience In handling property insurance claims. He has served in various roles throughout his career. Carlos is responsible for leading the claims department in delivering outstanding claim handling and achieving a superior level of customer service, as well as creating and maintaining best practices throughout the department.
Prior to joining Storm King Claims Services Carlos was a Claims trainer at Global Risk Solutions. He earned his bachelors degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Claims Manager
Jeremy Richardson joined Storm King Claims Services in 2016 and is a seasoned senior property claims manager with over a decade of experience in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully handled a wide range of property claims. Jeremy is well-versed in assessing damages, negotiating settlements, and ensuring timely and accurate claim processing. During his tenure at Storm King Claims Services, he has served as a Senior claims adjuster, AOB claims lead and was promoted to Claims Manager in 2022.
Prior to joining Storm King Claims Services, Jeremy spent 8 years with Allied Van Lines and Atlas Van Lines serving roles as Assistant Manager, Sales Manager and General Manager of multiple terminals. Jeremy’s expertise lies in effectively managing a team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service. He has a strong track record of assisting his team to maintain high client satisfaction rates and consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
In addition to his extensive experience, Jeremy has an associate degree in engineering and holds industry certifications in IICRC WRT, NORMi Mold Assessor, and Mold Remediation. These certifications allow him to enhance his field skills and knowledge; and equip him with a deep understanding of property insurance policies, coverage limits, and industry regulations.
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Jeremy believes in fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues, as collaboration and open communication are key to achieving successful outcomes.
